You may have heard recently that hitting the caps lock key during the XCOM 2 post-mission screens can cause the game to load much more quickly than it normally does. I can't confirm. Missions of XCOM 2 are key tactical combat operations and gameplay elements. During missions, the player directs a variable-sized squad of soldiers in tense turn-based combat, engaging the alien and ADVENT ground forces and completing the objectives. Missions can mainly be split up into two different types: Generic and Key. Generic missions don't affect the story, and make up the bulk of in.
XCOM 2 is by all accounts a great strategy game. It’s easy to pick up and play, but difficult to master. One of the great things about being a PC-exclusive game is that its developers have optimized its controls for PC gamers. That means there’s shortcuts, and they’re extremely useful.

If you’re planning on spending dozens, if not hundreds of hours in XCOM 2, you’ll want to acquaint yourself with the game’s keyboard shortcuts. You’ll need to, if you want to be an effective commander. The last thing you want to do is be unable to issue commands to your soldiers efficiently. The Resistance is counting on you.
To that end, Firaxis makes it easy for players to perform certain actions that would otherwise require multiple clicks of the mouse to accomplish the same tasks. You’ll be able to end turns, rotate the camera, quicksave and quickload (useful, if you’re save scumming), and quickly use your squaddies’ abilities.

Photosensitive Seizures

A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in video games. Even people who have no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause these “photosensitive epileptic seizures” while watching video games.

These seizures may have a variety of symptoms, including lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching, jerking or shaking of arms or legs, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. Immediately stop playing and consult a doctor if you experience any of these symptoms. Parents should watch for or ask their children about the above symptoms—children and teenagers are more likely than adults to experience these seizures. The risk of photosensitive epileptic seizures may be reduced by taking the following precautions: Sit farther from the screen; use a smaller screen; play in a well-lit room; and do not play when you are drowsy or fatigued. If you or any of your relatives have a history of seizures or epilepsy, consult a doctor before playing.

Precautions to take during use

- Avoid playing if you are tired or have not had much sleep.
- Make sure that the room in which you are playing is well lit.
- Rest for at least 10 to 15 minutes per hour while playing a video game.
